Totally Derma — nutraceutical collagen drink

Collagen drinks are everywhere at the moment, and it's a category with a lot of marketing and not always a lot of transparency — which is exactly why this one caught my attention when the team at Totally Derma sent me a tub to try. Totally Derma is a UK-formulated powder built around Arthred hydrolysed collagen peptides and Synovoderma hyaluronic acid, alongside supporting antioxidants and minerals. It's sugar-free, and the full formula is printed on the tub, which I appreciate.

Collagen is also a subject I've dug into properly on the show. I interviewed Totally Derma's founder, Anita Iles, in our episode “Collagen Isn’t a Gimmick — But Only If You Take the Right One”, and it changed how I read collagen labels. As Anita explained, collagen has to be enzymatically hydrolysed down to a tiny molecular weight before the body can absorb it, and dose matters far more than the marketing on the front of the tub. That conversation is exactly why this formula, built on hydrolysed Arthred collagen with hyaluronic acid, high-dose vitamin C, copper and manganese, made sense to me.

In practice it's easy to live with: one scoop stirred into a big glass of water in the morning, it dissolves properly rather than clumping, and the taste is close to neutral. A tub lasts about a month at a serving a day.
